"Your source for information about the 7 Oaks Retirement Community"

Seven Oaks was one of three subdivisions which debuted in the newly developed master-planned community of Rancho Bernardo.  The first residents moved into 7 Oaks in 1963.

That year also saw the opening of the Rancho Bernardo Inn and the community’s first shopping center on the corner of Pomerado Road & Rancho Bernardo Road.

Today, this vibrant highly desirable community consists of more than 1,300 of the cutest, single story homes in the county. There are also more than 400, ranch-style town homes designed to provide maximum privacy without sacrificing the sense of community.

Most of the homes in 7-Oaks contain 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and at least a 1 car garage.  Many of these lovely homes feature a 2 car garage. These homes range in size from about 1,000 to 2,000 square feet of living space. A typical lot size in the community is about 7,500 square feet although the range is from 5,700 to 20,000 sq. ft., many with breath taking views.

The community has a reputation for being "The" place to retire in North San Diego county.  This 55+ senior community is unquestionably one of the safest places to live in all of San Diego.  This location boasts a very mild  Climate. Average August highs range 84 to 88 degrees and January lows in the low range 41 - 46 degrees. The average annual rainfall is 12 - 13 inches, nearly all of which falls during the winter months. The summer afternoon humidity is usually low and the sun shines more than 315 days per year.

Convenient Location

Seven Oaks is a short 20 to 30 minute drive to all of San Diego's major attractions including the beautiful Seaport Village, Balboa Park, Petco Park, LaJolla Cove, the San Diego Zoo and the Safari Park.

Amenities & Fun For Active Seniors

My name is Desi Arnaz. I am a very active 63 year old senior citizen.  I am a 7 Oaks resident and I am continually impressed by the quality of my neighbors. The residents are kind, thoughtful and fun.  The community center was designed to be a resource which supports your lifestyle & activity choices.

My wife & I take advantage of the Ballroom Dance Classes every Thursday evening.  I also use the exercise equipment gym to stay fit and healthy.
